(measured from the bottom of the riser legs to the center of the clamping area). Or take the cross bar off and reduce the height by almost an inch (customer will need shorter 1/2-13 studs to reassemble risers without crossbar, shorter bolts not included). 1-1/2" of pullback. Very detailed and unique design. Everything is interchangeable for a true modular design.
